BLOCK OF THE MONTH |
Back by popular demand! if you can believe it, our current session of "Block of the Month" is already coming to an end. Meet up with fellow knitters on the last Saturday of every month and work on a square with a different stitch pattern. At the end of twelve months, you will have a blanket and will have had some seriously good laughs! Join us!
Beginning- Saturday, October 25th, 10-12 am.
Cost- Materials plus $50.00 deposit which will be refunded at the end of the class in the form of a credit note.

SHAWL KNIT-A-LONG |
Come join Mary as she walks you through a shawl that include numerous techniques. Whether you're a seasoned knitter, or just getting started, challenge yourself to this exciting project! It's a project that you'll never get bored of. Using a self-striping yarn, you will end up with a gorgeous piece in the end, to wear or even just throw over the back of your favorite chair.

If you haven't jumped on the bandwagon already, it's time to! We have more sock yarn in stock that you can shake a stick at, and it's time to learn how to make them if you don't know how already! Get cracking on those socks just in time for boot weather.

ILGA LEJA SHAWL- PINK LADY |
This shawl designed by Canadian designer Ilga Leja called "Pink Lady" has been very popular around the shop. It's elegant, and a tonne of fun to knit- so much easier than it looks! It makes a great 'first shawl' project for those new knitters looking to branch out.
Date- Saturday, October 18th, 10-12 am
Cost- $15.00 plus materials

PROJECTS CLASS |
Do you have a project in mind that you are interested in working on, but you want a bit of guidance? Join us and knit together in a social setting, at your own pace, on your own project. We will be there to help you through the tricky parts and make sure you get through the project with a smile on your face.
Cost- $80.00 plus materials
Dates- Wednesday, September 24th, October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, November 5th, 12th- 6-8 pm (8 weeks total)

CROCHET |
Come crochet! Crochet has been gaining popularity once again over the internet and within the knitting community, so come and try your hand at it! Even hard-core knitters can benefit from knowing a crochet stitch or two. Think of all the edgings you can create!

GRANNY SQUARES |
For those of your reading the blog, or who have been talking to Lynn lately, you will know that she is entirely obsessed with crocheting Granny Squares. If you want to get in on the fun, join her as she walks you through a 'square'. Make one big giant one, or lots of little tine ones! The choice is up to you.

SOCK and MITTEN GROUP |
We've been meeting for over a year now on the second thursday of every month, 7-9 pm. Please feel free to join us. All we ask is that you be willing bring a snack when asked. this is a knit and chat group, therefore instructional knitting won't be happening. That of course is not to say that we won't help you out if you're in a wee jam!
