Knit with Mary |
Join Mary Thursday mornings though July from 10:00-11:30. Bring those unfinished projects (UFOs) and enjoy the company of other knitters. If you're stuck, Mary will be there to hopefully get you out of your rut! She'll be working on an "easy" sweater for her husband, if there aren't too many questions. Love to see you there!!!!!

Join Lynn. M as she walks you through this amazingly fun scarf/shawl that allows you to intentionally drop A LOT of stiches for an open and drapey effect. Have you been eyeing a particular skein of yarn at the shop but haven't been too sure what to do with it? Well now if your chance to indulge. Join in and cast on.

Simple Shawl |
Oh yes. The name says it all. It's simple, and it's a shawl. But a beautiful shawl! Prove the world that simple can be beautiful. If you're ready to amp up your scarf knitting abilities, now is your chance. Be sure to swing by the shop to check out the sample!

Socks |
I churn out more socks in the summer than any other time of year. Just because it's hot, doesn't mean I stop knitting! The perfect hot-hot-heat project since they aren't draped all over your lap. If you haven't taken the time to learn, now is your chance! Stuff everyones stockings with socks this Winter.
When? Tuesday, June 22nd and 29th from 7:00-9:00 pm OR Tuesday July 13th and 20th from 7:00-9:00.

Honey Cowl |
We meet several scarf knitters a day, looking for that project to push them beyond yet another back and forth scarf. This is it! By making this wonderfully cozy cowl, learn how to knit in the round with circular needles, create a super-great new stitch pattern and wow your friends with your trendsetting taste!

Granny Squares |
Yet another super summer project. I have had people who have resisted the crochet/knitting world finally cave and sheepishly ask me to teach them how to make granny squares. And the result? One mega-addicted new crocheter. So see what all the fuss is about! Stay tuned to Lynn's blog as she has some granny square madness to share with the world very soon.
When? Saturday, July 10th from 1:00-3:00 OR Thursday, July 15th from 7:00-9:00

Sit 'N Knit |
Our knitters are pretty hard-core and heat doesn't get them down! They still meet every OTHER Wednesday afternoon from 1:00-3:00 to sit, knit and laugh their faces off (I can hear the roars from downstairs). So join in the fun! Just please remember that this is not an instructional class, just a time to be social and meet with other knitters.

Summer Learn to Knit
|
If you know someone who has been dying to learn how to knit, tell them to give us a call! We're talking all ages here. If you have a 9 year old who needs something to keep their hands busy, a teenager who didn't get a job this summer, or a Grandma who has itchy fingers keep them out of trouble and send them over to us!
For $25.00/hour, Lynn will teach the basics of knitting and hopefully get them off and running on their first ever knitting project!
You can have a private lesson, or up to four people at no extra charge. So get a group of friends together and let's get this knitting party started! If you have really little ones, 'Fibre Fun' is also always a good time- pom poms, twisted cords and finger knitting galore!
So give us a call and we can set something up that works with your schedule.

If there is something you are wanting to learn that isn't being offered here, feel free to give us a call and we can arrange for a private lesson at $25.00/hour. |

Class Rules |
While we love to teach classes and see you all broaden your knitting horizons, we do need to make a few rules here.
All classes must be paid in full upon registration.
No refund for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
All materials should be purchased at Mary's Yarns.
While we want you to make progress, we cannot offer extra help that exceeds a few minutes without prior notice outside of class time. |
